Children behavior problems may be small or they can be severe. No matter what the behavior problem is, a solution is needed to correct it before it becomes more of an issue when they get older. A child that has behavior problems that are left untreated can continue this behavior, and once they start school it could cause more problems

• Crying to get their way – This is probably number one on the list of children behavior problems. If you keep giving in to the crying child, they are going to associate crying with getting what they want. This can continue through life if they are not taught differently.
• Talking back – It is not unusual for a child to talk back, but if they continue to do it and are not given a time out or something is not taken away, they will keep doing this forever.
• Using bad words – It seems that all children do this at some point. The thing that a parent must remember is disciplining the child for saying the bad words will only make them say it more. Ignore the child that has learned a bad word and they will stop.
• Not understanding or listening to the word “no” – Kids do not like being told that they cannot do something or have something. They have to be told for many reasons. If a child does not learn the word “no” and what it means, once they start pre-school or regular school itself, they are going to have problems with authority.
Children behavior problems do not have to be a problem if you take the time to teach the child right from wrong. Good parenting skills means saying no, teaching right from wrong, and not giving into bad behavior to make it easy on yourself. Children learn from watching, listening, and doing.
